President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has in the meantime raised the alarm that the Boko Haram was hell bent on embarrassing his government with their attacks on the civilian population in the North East.
According to him, having lost the war, the groups are desperately seeking ways of returning to the society to wreak havoc.
He therefore called on all Nigerians, especially residents of the insurgency-ravaged areas to be more vigilant and ready to work with security operatives in ending the war.
A statement signed on the President’s behalf by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mallam GARBA SHEHU explained that the gradual return of the Boko Haram was meant to embarrass his government and that was why they chose isolated communities and markets as their targets.
President BUHARI further extended his condolences to the people of Chibok, Gombi in Adamawa state and Dalori who lost loved ones in the attacks and prayed God to comfort them and grant the injured persons quick recovery.
