Governor EMMANUEL UDOM of Akwa Ibom state has pledged his support for the President MUHAMMADU BUHARI anti-corruption war.
According to him, tackling the corruption scourge was necessary for the country and all citizens must join in.
In a chat with State House correspondent in Abuja after an audience with President BUHARI, Governor UDOM described corruption in Nigeria as endemic, adding that the current anti-corruption fight was a fantastic endeavor.
The Akwa Ibom state governor insisted that state governors are also fighting corruption.
On his pending election case at the Supreme Court, Governor UDOM expressed the hope that the mandate of the Akwa Ibom people will be upheld.
