The fourth round fixtures of the Australian Open have been concluded with the men’s top four seeds booking their spots in the Round of 16.
Defending Champion Novak Djokovic eased past Andreas Seppi in three sets with Andy Murray recovering from a second-set slump to see off a spirited challenge from Portugal’s Joao Sousa.
Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka are through to the next round alongside Thomas Berdych, David Ferrer, Kei Nishikori, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and John Isner.
Meanwhile, Andy Murray’s father-in-law Nigel Sears is being treated in hospital after collapsing at the Australian Open.
The 58-year-old Sears Coaches Ana Ivanovic and was watching her match with Madison Keys when he slumped leading to the match being suspended for an hour before resuming.
Andy’s brother Jamie told reporters Sears was “conscious, talking and sitting up”.
In the Women’s draw, a much depleted top 10 hierarchy sees defending Champion Serena Williams with Maria Sharapova, Angelique Kerber, Carla Suarez Navarro and Agnieszka Radwańska as the only seeds from the top 10 through to the next round.
Former Champion Viktoria Azarenka, alongside Belinda Bencic and Madison Keys who dumped out Ana Ivanovic, are through to the fourth round.
