LAI MOHAMMED CLEARS THE AIR ON NIGERIA’S STOLEN FUNDS

Information and Culture Minister, Alhaji LAI MOHAMEMD has cleared the air on Nigeria’s stolen funds, saying the fifty five people he accused of looting the country’s treasury in the last eight years is a statement of fact.

You would recall that LAI MOHAMMED had earlier this week addressed a world news conference in Abuja, where he alleged that fifty five Nigerians stole one point three trillion naira in eight years.

The allegations raised concerns with the likes of Ekiti state governor, AYO FAYOSE, asking the Minister to make public the names, especially the fifteen former state governors.

Meeting with members of the Save Democracy Group Africa in Abuja, LAI MOHAMMED said already, the names of the fifty five people are in the public domain.
