CHAN: Eagles Held by Tunisia

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a one-one draw by Tunisia in their second group match at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

Coach Sunday Oliseh made three changes to the side that started the opening match against Niger Republic, with Austin Oboroakpo, Usman Mohammed and hat-trick hero, Chisom Chikatara all included in the starting line-up.

The Eagles enjoyed a bit of luck in the first half, when what seemed a perfectly good goal by Tunisian dangerman, Ahmed Akaichi was chalked off on the stroke of half time.

Nigeria made the most of that good fortune when in-form striker, Chisom Chikatara gave Nigeria the lead early in the second half with his fourth goal of the tournament, but Akaichi fired home the equalizer twenty minutes from time to earn the North Africans a share of the spoils.
