SIX VILLAGERS KILLED IN BORNO STATE

At least six villagers have been killed and several others injured when Cameroonian soldiers chasing Boko Haram insurgents fired rocket-propelled grenades into a village called Ashigashiya in North West Borno state.

 

Ashigashiya is in Gworza local government area and has been the scene of several Boko Haram attacks.

 

A family of four was also instantly killed by one of the grenades which landed on their rooftop.
