VICE PRESIDENT YEMI OSINBAJO ISSUES QUERY TO DG BUREAU FOR PUBLIC ENTERPRISES

Vice President YEMI OSINBAJO has issued a query to the Director General of the Bureau for Public Enterprises, BPE, BENJAMIN DIKKI over an alleged one point four billion naira legal and consultancy fees scandal.

The consultancy fees were paid on controversial contacts awarded by the agency including a curious nine hundred and fifty million naira for the liquidation of the PHCN, when the company has ceased to exist and five hundred million naira paid as fees to a government department.

DIKKI is also expected to clarify the alleged payment of over twenty seven billion naira as premium for group life and group personal accident insurance for former staff of the defunct PHCN.

The query followed a petition to the office of the Vice President by a former Director General of the BPE, one IBRAHIM MOHAMMED KASHIA.
