JTF VOWS TO FISH OUT VANDALS OF OIL INSTALLATIONS IN WARRI

The Joint Military Taskforce in the Niger Delta, Operation Pulo Shield has describe the attack on oil installations n Warri-South local government area of Delta state as economic sabotage and has vowed to catch the perpetrators.

 

Commander of the Task Force, Major General ALANI OKUNOLA told newsmen while inspecting the site in Warri that all those responsible will be fished out and made to face the law.

 

General OKUNOLA also warned community leaders that they would be held responsible for any attack on the country’s oil and gas facilities in their domains.

 

He added that going forward, the laws banning the use of outboard engines with two hundred horsepower and above would be enforced in the region.

 

The JTF commander further described acts of vandalism of oil and gas infrastructure as criminal in nature and capable of undermining the security of the country.
