Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick as Barcelona continued their title push with a dominant 6-0 victory over Atletic Bilbao at the Nou Camp.
Bilbao had goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz sent off after just four minutes for bringing down Suarez in the box, with Lionel Messi converting the resulting penalty.
The home side rarely looked trouble after that, with Neymar chipping in a second just before the break.
Suarez got all of his three goals in the second half, while Ivan Rakitic also got on the score sheet as the champions completed an emphatic win.
Barcelona remain two points behind leaders, Atletico Madrid, who impressed with a 3-0 victory at Las Palmas, while Zinedine Zidane continued his excellent start to life as Real Madrid manager as he guided the side to a 5-1 victory over Sporting Gijon at the Bernabeu.
Real are four points behind neighbours Atletico, and two behind Barcelona, who have played a game less than both their title rivals.
