CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF CRITICISES ATTACKS ON OIL INSTALLATUIONS

The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral IBOK IBAS has described as sabotage, the continuous attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta region by suspected militants.

 

The Naval Chief was particularly referring to the bombing of the gas pipeline supplying gas from Escravos-Warri to lagos and Abuja.

 

He said that the Nigerian Navy has been put on alert to contain any other act of sabotage.

 

IBAS said some of the perpetrators of the crime have been arrested.
