Former Interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief BISI AKANDE has reacted angrily to reports making the rounds that the twenty sixteen budget is missing.
Speaking at an event to mark his seventy-seventh birthday, AKANDE expressed disappointment in the leadership of the Senate over the missing budget saying it was a fallout of indiscipline that produced the current senate leadership.
AKANDE lamented that a document as huge as Nigeria’s budget could be declared missing in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.
The twenty sixteen budget proposal laid before the Senate on December twenty two, twenty fifteen, by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI was declared missing by the Senate during the week.
Senate President BUKOLA SARAKI later accused presidential aide, ITA ENANG of circulating a different version of the budget proposal at the National Assembly.
