ACCORD PARTY SUSPENDS NATIONAL SECRETARY NURENI ADISA

One of the registered Political parties in the country, the Accord Party has suspended its National Secretary, NURENI ADISA, over an alleged confessional letter allegedly written to the EFCC by him on the issue of the one hundred million naira given to the party by the former National Security adviser, SAMBO DASUKI.

The money was said to have been received by former Oyo state governor, RASHIDI LADOJA on behalf of the party.

But after an emergency meeting in Abuja, the National Working Committee of the party said at no time did it mandate Senator LADOJA or any other person to collect one hundred million naira on its behalf.

It also said it was not a party to the confessional letter written by   the National Secretary and consequently announced the suspension of NURENI ADISA.

According to a communiqué after the meeting and made available to newsmen, a seven-man disciplinary committee has been set up by the party to determine the issues surrounding the money donated by DASUKI.
