FEDERAL HIGH COURT ORDERED TO ASK EFCC’S RELEASE OF OLISAH METUH

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has been asked to order the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to release from its custody with immediate effect the detained National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, OLISA METUH.

In an application filed yesterday through Lagos based human rights lawyer, EBUN-OLU ADEGBORUWA, METUH said his continued detention without charge is illegal.

He however said the second option open to EFCC is to charge OLISA METUH to court if it has evidence of corrupt practices against him.
