National Under-23 star Oghenekaro Etebo has revealed that he will join a European club this month.
The Warri Wolves forward did not disclose the identity of the club, but said everything has been agreed between the parties concerned.
Etebo enjoyed a successful season with Wolves, guiding the sea-siders to second place in the Nigerian Professional Football League, and inspiring the Nigerian Under-23 team to victory at the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations in December.
The striker’s efforts were recognised by the Confederation of African Football at the CAF awards on Thursday, where he was named the Most Promising Talent of 2015.
Wolves had placed a €2 million price tag on the player, but that has since been reviewed downwards.
Etebo had a potential move to Italian club Sampdoria scuppered by a knee injury two years ago, and he has been recently been linked with a move to several top Tunisian clubs.
